What is the Popular Library?
The Popular Library, located on the first floor of the Burroughs - Saden Building, contains a diverse collection of materials. We maintain all the fiction titles in the library and nonfiction titles of a popular / current nature as well as Large Type (L.T.), English as a Second Language (ESL), and Foreign Language books-with a large percentage being in Spanish. We house the library's audio visual materials-including videos, audiocassettes, compact discs, CD Roms, and records.
Our video collection is one of the most diverse in the state, exceeding 5000 titles including: entertainment, travel, health, how-to, documentaries, music, and foreign films. Our audiocassette collection includes music (popular, jazz, classical, etc.), talking books, and spoken word (speeches, how-to, travel, foreign language instruction).
All of these collections are yours for the borrowing - all you need is a valid library card from your home town library.
